December 2008

December Is Here!

In the month of December our children will learn how children in Asia celebrate Christmas. Throughout the year, children in Montessori classrooms learn about people and cultures around the world. This understanding encourages tolerance, unity, and a more peaceful co-existence in our world-one child at a time.

Thank You

We would like to thank all of our parents and grandparents for helping to make our Thanksgiving feast such a wonderful success. We had a feast of ham and turkey, macaroni and cheese, green beans, cakes, pies and a huge assortment of other delicious items! Having our parents and grandparents, and friends share the occasion with us made it even more special. Thank you for all that you do to support our Montessori Program

Read With Me

We want to encourage each child to build a love of reading. In the month of December we would like to ask our parents to set aside at least 15 minutes each night to read to their child. This time spent together will not only help your child become a better reader, but will also encourage your child to develop a love of reading!
