SAFE SCHOOLS PLEDGE

I promise to be SAFE and RESPECTFUL to EVERYONE and help our school remain BULLY-FREE.

BULLYING WILL NOT BE ALLOWED!!

BULLYING is repeated behavior that is meant to hurt someone physically, emotionally, or socially. 

BULLYING is:

·        Unfair and one-sided

·        Intentional

·        Imbalance of power

BULLYING BEHAVIORS are: 

·        Excluding others

·        Physically hurting someone

·        Teasing

·        Name calling

·        Spreading rumors

·        Making threats

·        Taking things from others

·        Sending mean notes, emails or phone calls

·        Getting someone else to do these bullying behaviors for or with you

Bullying will not be acceptable behavior in any schools or at any school related events.

What to do if someone is bullying you

Act confident

·       Hold your head up

·       Look them in the eye

Keep Your cool

·        Ignore them

·        Walk away

Be assertive

·        Use humor

·        Agree with the facts

·        Say “so” or “thanks”

·        Tell them to STOP or leave you alone

Stay SAFE

·        TALK about it with others

·        Ask for HELP
