Holiday Excitement in the Air

November flew by with record speed, and December finds us scurrying along trying to prepare for the holiday season. November flew by with record speed, and December finds us scurrying along trying to prepare for the holiday season.  There is so much excitement in the air, but we must remember that we still need to be on our very best behavior and do our very best work.

This time of year is fun and exciting.  There is shopping to be done, cakes to bake, and family to be seen.  With so much going on, it’s often hard to compose ourselves.  We often just want to enjoy the holiday season and forget all about following the rules that keep us safe from harm and danger.  Remember that it’s okay to have fun, to laugh, and even play.  But, we must do them at the appropriate times.  After all, we want everyone to be able to participate in any holiday festivities that may have been planned.  Don’t let a foolish decision leave you out in the cold.

School work is also a very important element of being successful.  Don’t forget that learning has not taken a backseat just because of the holidays.  You will be learning up until you leave for the Winter break.  With that being said, continue to bring all schools supplies, books, pencils, and paper to school with you each day.  Once you return to school in January, you don’t want to be frightened by any less than perfect grades!  Keep doing great works!

Keep in mind that you want to be successful and to be successful, always be the very student that you can be.
