NORTH VISTA ELEMENTARY
SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT COUNCIL
The School
Improvement Council of North Vista Elementary School is mandated by the
South Carolina General Assembly. The council is composed of parents,
community members, teachers, and administrators. Our role is to assist
in improving the educational environment at North Vista by making
observations and suggestions that will enhance the academic, social, and
physical climate of the school. The Council will also monitor and
evaluate efforts in reaching the school’s goals and objectives, give
advice on the use of school incentive awards, and write the annual
report to the parents indicating the progress of the school and district
on achieving the goals and objectives of the schools strategic plan. The
Council meets on the 4th Monday in each month.
