Our focus, as a fifth grade team, is to introduce relevant, valuable, informative, and challenging material to our students. We enjoy units such as Pre – Algebra in Math, US history in SS, novel units in E.L.A, Ecosystems and Biomes in Science, just to mention a few. Our students are exposed to interesting, interactive lessons using the latest technology. We work together by planning cooperatively and by sharing materials, ideas, strategies, and techniques. We expect our students to be prepared each day they come to us and have a positive attitude to enhance participation, attentiveness, and pride. We work to promote self - esteem which helps mold a positive identity in each of our students. We want our students to give their personal best each and every day.
