Other
Information:
The primary
purpose of our school and its curriculum is the education of the total
child. We seek to provide an organized continuous experience suited to
the individual needs of all children. Within the educational
environment, optimal academic experiences as well as emotional, social,
cultural, and physical development are emphasized.
Due to
the uniqueness of each individual, various approaches to effective teaching
are implemented to facilitate learning. Innovative techniques are
utilized to insure a feeling of self identity and the satisfaction of
achievement.
Our
school promotes a desire to continue learning, helps students build a general
background of knowledge, and encourages them to exercise their initiative in
making decisions. Through individual as well as cooperative efforts,
they learn to carry tasks to completion, and to evaluate the outcomes of their
efforts. When they become adults they will be expected to accept change
and adapt to new situations. The purpose of the school and its
curriculum is to help them to achieve these goals.
