Hello, I am very proud to be the curriculum coordinator of Carver Elementary School.  This is my 16th year as a curriculum coordinator and my tenth year at Carver.  I have 29 total years in education.  I graduated from Francis Marion University with a BS and Masters in Elementary Education and a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.

I am also very proud to have recently been selected as Carver's Teacher of the Year and a Florence District One Honor Roll Teacher.  My vision for Carver is for students to continue to experience success and to improve academically by receiving quality instruction in a safe learning environment.  It is my goal as curriculum coordinator to assist the teachers at Carver Elementary in providing the quality instruction needed to prepare our students to become productive citizens and life-long learners.

Carver Elementary School is a 5K - 4th Grade school with approximately 865 students.  All classes are self-contained rather than departmentalized and include the following:

  • 5K - 8 classes

  • 1st - 9 classes

  • 2nd - 8 classes

  • 3rd - 8 classes

  • 4th - 8 classes
