Welcome to the Media Center!

The mission of the media center is to provide resources and instruction to support the the curriculum and information literacy needs of students and staff.

The media center at Carver Elementary is open every school day from 7:30 until 3:10.  The media center is on a flexible schedule which means students may visit the media center from their classroom at any time to use the resources and to check out books.  Kindergarten students visit the media center once a week as a class in order to listen to stories, engage in activities, and check out books.  Students in first through fourth grades come as a class on a regularly scheduled basis to practice research skills on subjects that are curriculum-based.
