District Employment Policies

Florence School District One selects and employs staff members on the basis of qualifications and merit. The district ensures fair and equitable treatment for minorities. Procedures for Applying for Advertised Vacancies:

  1. Submit a letter of interest, a copy of your teaching certificate and a resume for the specific position for which you are applying. Materials must be submitted by the postmarked deadline date.
  2. If you wish to bring your materials to our office for the specific position for which you are applying, Personnel Services is located at 319 South Dargan Street.
  3. Present employees of Florence School District One Must apply by submitting a Transfer Form. (PDF or Word '97)

  1. Submit a letter of interest and a completed Florence School District One Professional Application. (PDF or Word Document)
