North Vista Elementary hosted an Everyday Math Information
Session
and Workshop for parents. Parents were given information about the curriculum then allowed to ask questions and voice any concerns they may have. Several activities, or routines, that occur throughout the program at every grade level were modeled for parents. After the routines were modeled, parents were given an opportunity to play several Everyday Math games with their children such as “Name that Number”, “Top-It”, and “Beat the Calculator”. The night was a huge success and future sessions will be held as we progress throughout the curriculum.
