September 2008 Snacks Each family is responsible for providing snacks for a week for the entire class. Your child’s teacher will provide a snack schedule. Homework Parents please read to your child every night! Homework sheets will be sent home on Mondays. Please return on Fridays!
“Within the child lies the fate of the future.” M. Montessori Welcome to our three year olds! The fours and fives have been busy for several weeks and they are adjusting nicely. In the Montessori classroom the lessons require the child to concentrate on the order of their work. The child learns to get the work and return it to the correct place on the shelf (cycle of work). This develops the child’s independence, concentration and coordination. These skills help to prepare the child for learning in all areas. The children are busy learning classroom procedures and grace & courtesy rules.
