Traditional Child
Development-6th Grade Classes
Each
month, teachers in traditional CD-6th grades nominate
one student from their class who models character traits,
especially the “Core Essentials” character trait for the month
before. (Before September 1st, each teacher will
choose a “September” student of the month based on the
character trait for August. During the whole month of
September, the student’s picture is displayed outside the
classroom and their name is displayed on a bulletin board
outside the office all year long.) At the end of the month,
your student of the month will receive a certificate, pencil,
cup, and other rewards for showing the best character trait for
the previous month.
