PowerSchool Parent Portal

What is the Parent Portal?

• PowerSchool is the student information system used by all schools in South Carolina. PowerSchool is used for scheduling, taking attendance, storing grades, and more.

• PowerSchool's Parent Portal provides real-time access for parents to their child's grades, attendance, assignments, and more. 

• PowerSchool is an online resource that allows you to see your student’s grades, attendance, and teacher assignments. It allows you to set up an email address to receive reports.

Who has access to the Parent Portal?

• All parents/guardians who have students in Florence School District One may have access to PowerSchool.

How do I request a username and password?

• Parents of West Florence High School students will receive user names and passwords on Wednesday, September 30th. The user names and passwords will be sent home with the students.

• Parents of students at South Florence must visit the school’s website to the complete the parent portal form or visit the school to complete the form. Once the form has been completed and e-mailed or returned to the school, the parents of South Florence students must present proof of identification and will be able to pick the user name and password from the school.

• At Wilson High, parents must visit the school to complete the parent portal form, after which they will be given the username and password to have access to PowerSchool.

• Principals of elementary and middle school students will distribute user names and passwords to parents from the individual elementary and middle schools.  This distribution of user names and passwords for the use of PowerSchool will take place on Monday, November 2, Parent Teacher Conference Day. 

• Each school will assign all parents/guardians new usernames and passwords to access PowerSchool.

• Parents/guardians will have to go to the school and show picture ID to have an account set up. If you have more than one student in FSD1, you will have to set up a separate account for each child.

• Usernames and passwords will not be given over the telephone or via email to protect student information.
