Welcome to Fifth Grade
Ms. Brown received her B. S. in Elementary Education from Francis Marion University. This is her third year teaching fifth grade at Savannah Grove Elementary. She enjoys seeing the excitement in a child’s face when they learn new things. Outside of school, Ms. Brown enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Timothy F. Brown lives in Florence with his wife Marie and 2 children (Caitlyn 6 and Noah 5). He relocated to South Carolina from New Jersey five years ago. He has been a teacher for the past seven years. Before Dr. Brown became a teacher, he was a C.P.A. Reading is one of his passions and he loves exposing children to the wonderful world that literature offers. He has a PhD in Educational Leadership.
Ms. Elder received a B.S in Elementary Education. She loves spending time with her three precious children and her family. She enjoys playing tennis in her spare time. Her two favorite quotes are" A child's life is like a piece of paper in which every person leaves a mark." and "We worry about what a child will become tomorrow, yet we forget that he is someone today." Always remember if you can believe it you can achieve it!!
Ms. McCray has been an assistant for four years at Savannah Grove. She enjoys working with children and helping them learn. In her spare time she enjoys being a part of her church, singing, cooking and reading.
Mrs. Dixon received a B.S. Degree in Elementary Education from Benedict College in 1990. She also received a Masters Degree from Francis Marion University in 1999. She believes that all children can learn. She likes to sing, shop, and spend time with her family.
Mrs. Leroy received a B.S. degree in Elementary Education from North Greenville College. She has also taken graduate courses from Francis Marion University with an emphasis in literacy and technology. Mrs. Leroy has been teaching fifth grade at Savannah Grove for nine years. She loves working with children and spending time with her family and friends.
