Announcements

Seniors: If you are graduating at the end of first semester, please come to guidance to complete the graduation form

Realizing that there are individuals in the Florence community whose lives have been changed because of the numerous lay-offs and closing of industries and businesses, the members of the Margaret Edwards Chapter of the South Florence High School National Honor Society invite all students, faculty, and staff members to participate in the canned food drive scheduled to begin Tuesday, November 10, 2009.  All canned goods collected will be donated to the Manna House, a non-profit organization that provides two meals a day to individuals who have lost their jobs, homes, cars, and/or families and rely on the goodness of caring individuals in the community for their daily bread. Please bring the canned goods and place them in the brown bags in your first period class.  Only canned goods that have a non-expired date will be accepted.  Members of the National Honor will go by the rooms and offices, empty the bags, and place all canned goods in Mr. Vincent’s office.  If enough canned goods can be placed in Mr. Vincent’s office, he will be forced from his office.  Everyone can bring in as many canned goods as they want to donate.    Please join the members of the National Honor Society in bringing enough canned goods to make a difference in the lives of the people who are dependent on eating daily from the Manna House. The canned food drive will culminate Friday, November 20, 2009.
