Kimberly Stauffer received the Citizenship Award from West Florence High School.  Kimberly is pictured with Governor Mark Sanford.          Details

Academic Letters will be awarded to students at Awards Night on Monday, May 19th at 6:00 p.m. in the West Florence Auditorium.  Requirements for an Academic Letter include: an average overall GPA of 4.250 and must be enrolled at WFHS since August 20, 2007.

Excellence on the field and in the classroom:

Congratulations to Malliciah Goodman and Melanie Zhao ! !

 

 Malliciah Goodman and Melanie Zhao have something in common.   Both are juniors at West Florence this year.  Malliciah has excelled on the football field.  He has been selected to play in the 2009 All-American Bowl (football).  The football game will take place on Jan 5, 2009.  He has been ranked the 5th best Strongside Defensive End in the country and currently has a verbal commitment to play for Clemson.  Melanie has excelled on the SAT.  Ms. Zhao made a perfect score on the English and Math portions of the SAT (800 on each) and a 790 on the writing portionMelanie can now write her own ticket to the college of her choice.
