During times when we experience watches or warnings for tornadoes, hurricanes, ice or snow storms, Florence District One will take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of your child while under our supervision. However, it is our policy to release students to the care of their parents or legal guardians when such a release is requested.

· our 2004-2005 Teacher of the Year is Judy Merrick · our JROTC drill team are champions for 2003-04 AND for winners of 4th place in the nation at the Pepsi National Drill Meet in Alabama. Our Fancy armed drill team placed 4th in the nation in this drill meet. ·
