AFROTC Blood Drive On Tuesday, September 30, Wilson High School had the first blood drive of the 2008/2009 school year. The goal was 63, and we were able to collect a record 78 units of live-saving blood! The highest number of units collected at the school was 54 in 2002. The AFJROC did an incredible job, and the cadets worked so hard. The students and teachers really stepped up to the plate, and we actually had to turn away at least 40 students. Being able to have the blood drive in the auditorium made this all possible. We appreciate the support of Dr. Edwards, Mr. Tuten, and all the administration staff. We are looking forward to February!
