State Superintendent Jim Rex and State Board member Trip DuBard congratulate Yvonne Rhodes, 2008 LRE High School Teacher of the Year. She teaches government and history at Wilson High School in Florence District One. Rhodes is Fourth Congressional District Coordinator for the “We the People: the Citizen and the Constitution” program. Her students have won multiple state championships in We the People contests and competed in the high school Mock Trial program.
The staff of Wilson high School voted Mrs. Sandra Wallace as the 2008 Teacher of the Year. She is a dedicated teacher who devotes herself to her students and is making a difference for the children and their families. Congratulations to Mrs. Sandra Wallace on her achievement! It is truly an accomplishment to be honored as Teacher of the Year. Special thanks go out to Mrs. Wallace for her ongoing dedication to her students!
Wilson High School History Wall . The wall will illustrate the history of Wilson High School. Molecule Man made an appearance on WWHS News to encourage students to buy rockets for Valentines Day. The rockets are $5.00 each and are available from Mr. Nickisch, Mrs. Moriarity and Col. Moriarity.
