. . . and now, the
easy way to publish a classroom web page. Now, you can
create your page with whatever web design program you desire, save or
upload that page to your personal web space and the
world can 'view' your classroom.
The first step is simply to create your web
page. You may use FrontPage or WOR. Just
save the page with a filename of either index.htm or
default.htm. This will help make it publicly
accessible. FrontPage automatically adds the correct file
extension. With Microsoft Word, change the File type to Web Page (not
Single File Web Page).
Then, have your school's web team review
your page with the
FSD1
Web Page Guidelines. This is the second step, and this
protects you. When you create a web page and make it publicly
accessible, you are responsible for it's contents. If you use
student pictures or names be sure you have signed permission forms for
acceptable use
