Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Julia Johnson
I am currently a Reading Recovery Teacher at Wallace Gregg and also coordinate and teach in our First Grade Literacy Lab. I have the privilege to work one-on-one with first grade students to improve their reading and writing skills. I believe that all children can learn if the right way is found to guide them. On-going professional development in Reading Recovery has helped me to learn new strategies to assist these students in their literacy development. I am excited to face the challenge and hope that I can help make a difference in the lives of my students.

To teach a child to read is teaching him how to learn about the world around him.
