WGE Clubs and Activities

  •

At Wallace Gregg Elementary School, we believe in educating the whole child. In addition to academics of reading, math, science, health, and social studies, it also includes providing experiences that help to develop the total child. Research shows that art, music and physical education contribute to increased achievement in academic subjet areas and improve the overall health and well-being of children.

Clubs and activities help students to build respect and learn team work as well as gain self-confidence in themselves. It provides students a chance to learn real-world skills and important life-skills that can carry students thoughout life. Studies have shown that children that participate in additional school activities are more interested in school and have greater expectations.
