Mrs. Farmer

 Welcome Back to School!!

I began my public school teaching career after serving twenty-plus years in the United States Army. As a Special Educator, I've been teaching for fifteen years. I began teaching in North Carolina.  In my current teaching assignment at Alfred Rush Academy, I teach 7th through 12th grade students.  I previously taught in North Carolina both in the Cumberland County School System and in the Harnett County School System.  I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University...Go Broncos!  Later, I returned to my alma mata to earn a Master's Degree in Reading Education.  I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Special Education.  I believe all children can learn and I am excited every day I'm blessed to be able to encourage my students to strive for excellence and reach for the stars.

This school year, I look forward to continuing to teach and encourage each of my students to be the best that he or she can be.  Again, welcome to a year that will be the best year of your life.

I am available from 8:30 through 4:00 for questions or concerns from parents and guardians.  Please feel free to call the school office at 843-292-1009 or please email me at jacqueline.farmer@fsd1.org.
