Miss Elizabeth Collins
Elizabeth Collins has been teaching Social Studies for 25 years. She has a B.A. in History from Francis Marion University, a Masters in Education, and is currently working on a second Masters degree in Political Science at American Public University. Miss Collins currently teaches AP Government, U.S. Government, U.S. History and Leadership. She is also the advisor for Student Government at South Florence High School. Elizabeth Collins has been a past recipient of a variety of grants and awards, including the School Foundation's Bridge the Gap 2009 and Time Warner Cable Teacher of the Year, 2006. Miss Collins is a member of AP Advocates, a College Board organization dedicated to recruiting diverse students to AP programs and thereby increasing college readiness skills.
